Free listing vs. Featured — what each includes

Listing your business is free, and so is claiming it. Every approved listing is Featured for 30 days at no cost: a gold Featured ring on your listing card and a spot in the homepage Featured Businesses section. For more visibility, buy a Featured stack from your dashboard. A stack is a one-time payment (the current price is on the Boost button; on October 20, 2026 it is $10.00) that lists you ahead of non-featured businesses in search and on category and city pages and adds a Featured badge to your profile.

What each level includes

A free listing is any listing in the directory, including the ones started from publicly available business information. A claimed listing is one an owner has claimed and an admin has approved. See How to claim your listing and How to add your business.

How the free 30-day Featured window works

• Claiming an existing listing: the window starts when you click the confirmation link in your claim email, and runs a full 30 days from the moment your claim is approved (instantly when your email matches your website's domain, otherwise when our team approves it).
• Adding a new listing: the window starts when an admin approves the listing.
• During the window your card shows the gold ring wherever listing cards appear, and your listing joins the homepage Featured Businesses section. Changes there appear within about a minute.
• After 30 days your listing continues as a free claimed listing with every dashboard tool. Add a Featured stack at any time to keep a Featured placement.

How to buy a Featured stack

1. Sign in at Sign In and open your dashboard.
2. Select My Listings.
3. Next to your listing, select Boost ($10.00) (the button shows the current price).
4. Stripe Checkout opens with Featured stack — [your business name]. Pay by card.
5. You return to My Listings. Once Stripe confirms the payment, your listing shows a yellow Featured badge. Two or more stacks show as 2× Featured, 3× Featured and so on.

Each stack is a single payment with no renewal. Buy another stack the same way: each one moves your listing earlier among Featured businesses, because Featured listings are ordered by stack count. The homepage, search, category and city pages pick up a new stack automatically.

Troubleshooting

• I don't see a Boost button. The button appears under My Listings for listings attached to your account. Claim your listing first (How to claim your listing), then sign in with the same email.
• "You do not own this listing" or "Could not start checkout": you are signed in with a different email from the one that claimed the listing. Sign out, sign in with the claiming email and select Boost again.
• I paid but the Featured badge is missing. Wait a minute and reload My Listings; the badge appears once Stripe confirms the payment. If it is still missing, email [email protected] with your business name and the date you paid.
• I closed checkout without paying. Nothing is charged. You return to My Listings and can select Boost again whenever you like.
• My gold ring is gone. Your free 30-day window has ended. Your listing stays live and free; add a Featured stack to return to Featured placement.
• My claim is approved but my listing isn't in the homepage Featured section. The section refreshes about every 30 seconds. Reload the homepage; listings with a Featured stack appear first, followed by listings in their free window.
