Discover new businesses and restaurant openings

Find new local places through Explore SETX → New Businesses or New Restaurants. These pages cover Beaumont and Southeast Texas, with sources checked by the directory team.

Explore openings

1. Open Explore SETX in the site header (on a phone, open the menu first).
2. Choose New Businesses for all business categories or New Restaurants for the Restaurants & Food category.
3. Read Recently opened for businesses with a confirmed opening date within the past six months. Coming soon shows announced businesses whose opening is still expected.
4. Read the location, opening summary and Checked date on a card.
5. Select View opening source to read the announcement. Opening plans can change, so confirm with the business before travelling.
6. Select a linked business name to open its directory listing, when one is linked.

An entry remains visible for 90 days after its latest source verification. Expected dates do not automatically turn a coming-soon entry into an open business. Adding a business to our database does not establish an opening date.

Submit your business

1. Select Add your business on either openings page.
2. Complete the listing submission. If your business is already listed, claim that listing instead.
3. For an opening feature, contact [email protected] with your business name, location, opening announcement link, and actual or expected opening date.
4. The team reviews the source before publishing an opening card. Submitting or claiming a listing does not automatically publish a card.

Troubleshooting

• An opening disappeared: its opening date may be more than six months ago, its latest source check may be over 90 days old, or the team may have hidden it while confirming details. An associated closed or inactive listing also hides the card.
• An expected date passed: coming-soon entries remain labelled coming soon until the team verifies an actual opening.
• A new listing is missing here: this page needs opening evidence. The full directory also includes established businesses newly added to the site.
• Details need correcting: email the directory with the card name and a link supporting the correction, or update your claimed listing for listing-specific information.
