Save businesses and find them again
Keep a private shortlist of local places and services in your free directory account.
Updated
Saved Businesses keeps your local shortlist in your directory account. It is free, private to your account and available on another device when you sign in to the same account. Saving a business sends no message to the business and does not subscribe you to deals emails or texts. Business profiles remain available to browse without an account.
Save a business
- Browse the directory and open a business profile.
- If you are signed out, choose Sign in to save. Sign in, or follow the account-creation link. After signing in you return to the business profile.
- Choose Save business. Signing in by itself does not save it; this click confirms your choice.
- Wait for the button to show Saved · remove. Your first saved date is preserved if a request is repeated. Each business appears once in your list.
New accounts start with an empty saved list. There are no alert settings or paid upgrades required for saving businesses.
Find your saved businesses
- Sign in and open Dashboard.
- Choose Saved Businesses in the dashboard menu. On a phone, swipe the menu sideways if needed. You can also open /dashboard/saved.
- Your businesses appear newest saved first, up to 24 per page. Choose Next page or Previous page to move through your list.
- Click a business name or View business to reopen its profile and use its current contact information.
If a listing becomes unavailable, its saved card explains that status and remains removable. A deleted business record leaves the list automatically.
Remove a business
- On its profile or saved card, choose Saved · remove.
- On a profile, the button changes to Save business. On the saved-list page, the card leaves the list.
- You can save an active business again later. Its new save goes to the top of your list.
Troubleshooting
- Checking saved status… stays visible: refresh the page when your connection is available. An error message means the saved state could not be confirmed.
- Sign in to save appears again: your session may have expired. Sign in with the same account, then choose Save business.
- This listing is currently unavailable to save: browse another active listing. Existing saved unavailable listings can still be removed.
- We couldn’t update your saved businesses: the update was not confirmed. Refresh to check the current state before trying again.
- The list is empty: check which account you used. Your saved businesses belong to that account. Open a profile and choose Save business to add one.
- An empty later page: use Previous page; removing the last item on a page can leave it empty.
Saved Businesses and the local deals alerts list are separate features. Saving never selects email or text consent.
