Open a city hub
- Open Cities and select your city, such as Beaumont.
- On the city's first page, find Explore [city]. Its buttons jump to Best-rated businesses, Community & business events and New & coming soon. Grow your local presence opens the city's business-listing page.
- Scroll past the discovery sections to browse the category cards and All Businesses directory. Next and Previous move through 24 businesses per page. The discovery sections appear on page 1.
Compare businesses
The Best-rated in [city] section shows up to eight types with listings in that city. Restaurants and frequently used services appear first. Each card shows the number of businesses compared.
Select a card to see its rating-based comparison. Select Explore all [number] business types to open the full guide chooser with your city selected. The comparison page explains its ranking method and shows rating-check or source-import dates where available.
Plan community and business activities
Coming up in [city] has two sections: For your community and For your business. Each shows up to three upcoming events within the next 90 days. Repeated occurrences of the same event at the same venue share one highlight, so you can see more activities.
Select an event's name for its details, organizer links and registration information. View community events in [city] and View business events in [city] open the calendar with both city and purpose selected. Use Submit a local event to send an event for review.
Dates are shown as local event-calendar dates. A Free label appears only when the stored event explicitly identifies free admission. Confirm timing, admission and availability with the organizer before attending. If a section has no highlights, its calendar link still lets you check upcoming dates.
Discover openings
New & coming soon in [city] shows up to three city-specific entries, ordered by their latest verification. Opened gives the reported opening date. Coming soon shows the expected date when available; those dates are estimates.
Select View opening source to read the announcement. Checked is the date the opening information was verified. Entries remain eligible for 90 days after verification. Recently opened businesses must have an opening date within the past six months. Businesses whose linked directory listing is inactive or marked closed are omitted.
When an opening has a directory profile, select its name to open it. The New businesses in [city] and New restaurants in [city] links open the full opening pages with your city selected. Openings across Southeast Texas opens all regional announcements. The opening pages let you choose another city or reset to All Southeast Texas.
Find opportunities and help
At the bottom of the discovery sections, Southeast Texas jobs and Business resources open regional pages. Those links cover the region rather than only your selected city.
If an event or opening seems outdated, open its source to check the latest announcement. Owners can use Grow your local presence to add or claim their business and keep their listing details current.
