How to use your business owner dashboard
See your last 30 days of profile views, phone taps and website visits, finish your profile, and share your listing from one page.
Updated
Your owner dashboard is the page you see after you sign in with the account that claimed your listing. For each approved listing it shows how many people viewed your profile and tapped to call or visit your website in the last 30 days, a Profile strength score with the exact details still worth adding, and two quick ways to grow: your Verified badge for your own website and a review link to send customers.
Open your dashboard
- Go to southeasttexasbusinessdirectory.com and click Login in the top bar.
- On the Sign In page, use the email address you claimed your listing with. Choose the Password tab to sign in with your password, or the Magic Link tab to get a sign-in link by email.
- Click Dashboard in the top bar. You can also go straight to /dashboard.
On a computer, the dashboard menu is on the left: Overview, My Listings, Quote Requests, Job Listings, Help Guides, Settings and Sign Out. On a phone, the same menu is a row of buttons across the top of the page; swipe it sideways to see every button.
What the Overview shows for each listing
The page title is Business Dashboard. Each listing you own has its own section.
Name, location and badges
Under your business name you see its category, city and state, plus:
- Claim approved: you are the approved owner and can edit the listing.
- Featured until followed by a date: your listing is inside its Featured period and shows the Featured highlight until that date. See /help/free-vs-featured.
- Featured: shown instead when you bought a Featured boost.

Last 30 days
This card counts real customer activity on your listing over the last 30 days:
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Profile views | People who opened your profile page, counted once per visit. |
| Phone taps | Taps on the call button for your business on your profile, on directory listing cards and on Best-of pages. |
| Website visits | Taps on Visit Website for your business on your profile, on directory listing cards and on Best-of pages. |
How the counting works:
- Search-engine crawlers and other automated traffic are filtered out, so these numbers reflect people.
- Repeat taps from the same connection within 10 minutes count once.
- Counting of phone taps and website visits started in October 2026.
- A number appears as soon as it is above zero. Until then the card says "Profile views, phone taps and website visits appear here as customers find you."
The same 30-day numbers appear on one line under each listing on the My Listings page and at the top of the Edit listing page.
Profile strength
The score runs from 0% to 100%. Each detail on your profile is worth a set number of points, shown as +points next to each suggestion:
| Suggestion | Points | Counts as done when | Where you add it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Description | 20 | Your Description has 250 or more characters | Edit listing → Basic Info → Description |
| Business hours | 15 | At least one day has hours | Edit listing → Hours |
| Photos | 15 | You have uploaded 3 photos (live or in review) | Photos |
| One-line summary | 10 | Short Description is filled in | Edit listing → Basic Info → Short Description |
| Phone number | 10 | Phone is filled in | Edit listing → Contact → Phone |
| Website | 10 | Website is filled in | Edit listing → Contact → Website |
| Street address | 10 | Street Address, City and ZIP Code are all filled in | Edit listing → Basic Info |
| Contact email | 5 | Email is filled in | Edit listing → Contact → Email |
| Social profile | 5 | Any one of Facebook URL, Instagram URL, Twitter/X URL or Yelp URL is filled in | Edit listing → Social Links |
On the Overview, the card lists your top 3 open suggestions. When there are more, click the See all link under them (for example See all 6 suggestions) to open the full list on the Edit listing page. Click any suggestion and the editor opens on the right tab with the cursor in that field. Below the suggestions, Done: lists what you have already finished. At 100% the card says "Your profile is complete."
Add your Verified badge to your website
This card shows your badge. Copy badge HTML copies the Medium badge code, ready to paste into your website. More sizes and install steps opens the full badge page. Full steps: /help/website-badge.
Get more reviews
Copy review link copies a link that opens the review form on your profile. Open the review kit opens your Reviews page, where you also get a ready-to-send message. Full steps: /help/get-more-reviews.
While your claim is in review
A listing whose claim is still being reviewed shows "Your claim is in review. Editing, your stats and the website badge open here as soon as it's approved." Use View public profile to see the listing meanwhile. See /help/verify-ownership.
Before you claim a listing
If your account has no listings yet, the Overview shows Claim your business listing with two buttons:
- Find my business opens /claim, where you search for your existing listing and claim it for free.
- Add a new business opens /add-business for a business that is new to the directory.
My Listings page
Click My Listings to see every listing on your account. Each one shows its category and city, your short description, the Last 30 days line, the same listing buttons as the Overview, and a Boost button with the current price for a Featured boost (see /help/free-vs-featured). A Verified label appears when our team has marked the business itself as verified; that is separate from your claim approval. Find a Business to Claim at the top opens /claim to add another listing.
Troubleshooting
I claimed my business but my dashboard says "Welcome to SETX Directory". You are signed in with a different account than the one you claimed with. Click Sign Out, then sign in with the email address you used on the claim form.
My 30-day card shows no numbers. Each number appears once it is above zero. New activity shows up the next time you open the dashboard. Share your profile and your review link to bring visitors in.
My numbers are lower than another analytics tool shows. This card counts people once per visit and leaves out crawlers and other automated traffic, so it reports a conservative, real-customer number.
A suggestion is still open after I saved. Check the rule in the Profile strength table: a description needs 250 or more characters, an address needs street, city and ZIP code, and a field that holds only spaces counts as empty. Your BBB URL is saved to your listing; the Social profile suggestion counts Facebook, Instagram, X and Yelp because those show as links on your profile.
A photo I uploaded no longer appears. Photos that do not pass our review are removed from your list. Upload a different photo on the Photos page.
The Featured date disappeared. Your Featured period ended on that date. See /help/free-vs-featured for Featured options.
I can't find the menu on my phone. Swipe the row of buttons at the top of the dashboard sideways.
